HR in Law is a UK organisation for human resource professionals working within the legal sector. It encourages and facilitates the professional development of HR practitioners and regularly hosts events to promote HR standards.
Chaired by Rob Hind, Head of HR at Macfarlanes LLP, HR in Law has over 140 law firms registered as members. These range from magic and silver circle firms to smaller independent practices.
ABOUT PROFESSIONALS IN LAW
As champions of direct sourcing, Professionals in Law is the only legal job board to advertise all roles within a law firm. Vacancies come straight from law firms looking to connect with top candidates directly to promote their employer brand while making cost savings.
Working with a diverse mix of firms from the magic circle to regionals, Professionals in Law supports HR teams in their direct recruitment efforts with hands-on account management.

Read this before you enter.
These awards aim to recognise exceptional work by Human Resources teams in law firms across the UK and Ireland. Entering a category shouldn’t be difficult or time-consuming.
In general though, every entry should clearly state what you do (or did), and why it was exceptional or beneficial to your firm. If you’ve got any statistics that add weight to your case, it’s best to include them too.
The judges will give special consideration to effectiveness, originality, return on investment and best practice.
