Awards Description

Welcome to Fresh: The Best of British

Fresh has for over a decade celebrated innovation and creativity in Advertising, Broadcast, Creativity, Communications, Design, Digital, Marketing, Media and Public Relations but the lines between these genres are increasingly blurred which is why last season we ditched our entry categories – why pigeon hole your creativity and ideas? In an ever-evolving world, our competition is also changing and Fresh 2018 wants to celebrate truly the best of British, keep our creative flag flying and ensure that the UK retains its central global stage as the worldwide centre for astounding ideas and jaw dropping innovation.

We’ve lifted our top ten policy from last year – we are all in need of a bloody good do so let’s celebrate the best ideas in each of the following areas next March and although we are all about the red white and blue, its gold, silver and bronze that will be adorning our winners in the following disciplines Advertising, Craft, Communications, Design, Experiential, Home Made, Innovation, Moving Images, Performance, Spacial and lastly the Weird & Wonderful.

If you have anything at all that falls within our blurred genres we’d love to celebrate it with you – and even if it doesn’t, we still want to recognise the weird and wonderful.

Great Judges, no categories, one fee covers unlimited entries, and a great event to look forward to.

We are Great Britain. Are you the Best of British?

How To Enter

We have tried to make entering as simple as possible and most entries can be submitted online with a title, a few details and a related image upload, although we do need your actual work in by Friday 19 January 2018.

If you are entering under the Communications, Digital, Home Made, Innovation or Spacial banners, then we will need a few more details please so try and make sure your entries are accompanied by a word document explaining the project which should be between 750-1000 words max. Provide an introduction, and more importantly any outcomes.

Live Performances and Moving Images, then we need video uploads please – and a backup disc sending to us by 19 January 2018.

The website will automatically generate a reference number for every entry so please make sure you clearly label all work before sending in.

If your submission is truly weird & wonderful, then you might need to call us so we can work out the best way to accept your entry – we are happy to help so please call 0115 9333811 for help.
